See the full fleet

Budva is the beating heart of the Montenegrin coast: a long Riviera of beaches, a compact Venetian-walled old town, and the liveliest summer nightlife on the Adriatic. It is also one of the easiest bases for a road trip, sitting roughly midway between Kotor Bay and Sveti Stefan with the airport just up the coast. Pick up a car here and the whole southern Adriatic opens up within an easy drive.

How pickup works

We bring the car to you — there are no counter queues and no airport-style waiting around. Meet us at your hotel or a town address in Budva, we hand over the keys, walk through the car together, and you are on your way.

  • We meet you with the car at your hotel or address in town
  • No online prepayment — you pay at pickup
  • Free cancellation if your plans change
  • Full-to-full fuel, so you return it as you got it

Browse our fleet to choose the right car before you arrive, from compact city runabouts to roomier options for the family or a longer trip.

Drive times from Budva

All times below are approximate and depend heavily on traffic and the season — coastal roads back up noticeably in July and August.

  • Sveti Stefan — about 10 minutes down the coast
  • Tivat Airport — about 30 minutes
  • Kotor — about 30 minutes
  • Podgorica — about 1 hour inland

If you are flying in or out, our Tivat Airport page covers meet-and-greet there too, and the bay town of Kotor makes an easy half-day trip from Budva.

Getting around and parking

Budva is small enough to explore the old town on foot — in fact you have to, since the walled core is pedestrian-only. Keep the car for the things a car is actually good for: beach-hopping along the Riviera, a run up to Kotor, or a longer day inland.

Parking in the centre is tight and busy in high season, so it is worth using your hotel's parking or a marked lot rather than circling the seafront. Out of season it is far more relaxed.

A local tip

Treat Budva as your launch pad rather than the whole trip. Some of the best driving is the short hop to Sveti Stefan for the view, or the winding run around to Kotor — both comfortable on a half-day with the car. For ideas on the roads, tolls, and what to expect behind the wheel here, see our guide to driving in Montenegro. Start early to beat the midday coastal traffic, and you will see far more in a day than you would expect from the map.
